At Mazzoni Center, we are dedicated to providing quality comprehensive health and wellness services in an LGBTQ-focused environment. Our mission is to preserve the dignity and improve the quality of life of the individuals we serve. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space for all, where everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued.

Comprehensive Health and Wellness Services

We offer a wide range of health and wellness services, including primary care, HIV care, hepatitis C care, chest and cervical health, youth drop-in clinic, 340B program, on-site pharmacy, insurance, and sliding scale. Our clinical team provides comprehensive primary health care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and chronic disease management.

Gender Affirming Care

We are committed to providing gender-affirming care to transgender individuals, who often face discrimination and misunderstanding in healthcare. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can feel seen, respected, and valued. We offer gender-affirming surgery support letters, name and gender-marker changes, pediatric and adolescent comprehensive transgender services, and sisterly love.

Testing and Prevention

Our testing and prevention services include HIV and STI testing and treatment, navigation services, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), and linkage to care. We also offer condoms and safer sex kits, and provide educational resources and support to help individuals make informed decisions about their sexual health.

Behavioral Health and Supportive Services

Our behavioral health services include therapy and recovery, intensive outpatient program (IOP), individual, couples, and family therapy, smoking cessation services, and EMDR therapy. We also offer supportive services, including case management and housing, food bank, and legal services.

Community Engagement and Education

At Mazzoni Center, we believe that education and community engagement are essential components of our mission. We offer educational resources, workshops, and events to promote health, wellness, and awareness. Our annual Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference is a signature event that brings together individuals, organizations, and communities to promote transgender health and wellness.
