Our History

The story of Bailey Medical Center begins with Larkin Bailey, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Marine Corps. After his military service, Larkin went on to attend several universities, including T.U., California at Berkeley, Yale, and the University of Iowa. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and an excellent athlete, lettering in baseball and football. After his baseball career, Larkin studied law and later scouted for several MLB teams. He eventually took over the abstract business his father started and expanded its operations.
