Meet Dr. James M. Swinehart

Dr. Swinehart is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing in Denver since 1979. He was born in Seattle, Washington, and grew up in Fresno, California. He attended the University of California at Berkeley for his undergraduate degree, majoring in chemistry. He then went on to attend Creighton University School of Medicine, where he graduated cum laude as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr. Swinehart completed his residency at the University of Colorado and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology in 1977-1978.

Dr. Swinehart is highly skilled in various dermatological procedures, including laser surgery, liposuction, hair transplantation, leg vein sclerotherapy, blepharoplasty, and cosmetic surgery. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and holds medical staff privileges at Porter, Swedish, Craig, St. Luke's, Presbyterian, and Littleton Hospitals.
