Our Story
Today's Vision is a leading eye care provider that has been delivering exceptional services to patients of all ages since 1984. Our journey began in Houston, Texas, and has since grown to over 45 locations across the state. Our founders, Dr. Donald Glenz and Dr. Stig Pederson, had a vision to provide high-quality eye care to the community, and their concept of a hybrid optical store combining the service of a "mom and pop" optometry office with the value offered by a large corporate retail chain has been instrumental in our success.

Our Locations
We have over 45 locations across Texas, including Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Laredo, and Tyler. Each of our locations is independently owned and operated, allowing us to provide personalized care to our patients.
Appointment Scheduling and Waiting Times
Some reviewers had excellent experiences with appointment scheduling and waiting times. Dr. Cantu and the staff were able to accommodate appointments same-day and were very flexible. However, there were a few instances where patients were kept waiting for extended periods of time. Wilfred Pepple, for example, waited three hours for an appointment and was frustrated with the lack of communication about the doctor's availability. James Flores also experienced long wait times and was disappointed with the lack of follow-up on his contacts appointment.
Quality of Care and Staff
The majority of reviewers praised the quality of care and staff at Today's Vision. Dr. Cantu and the rest of the staff were described as friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Brenda, in particular, was praised for her exceptional service and ability to explain complex insurance options. However, James Flores was disappointed with the lack of communication and forgetfulness on the part of the staff.
Value for Money
A few reviewers had issues with the prices of glasses and contacts at Today's Vision. John Miranda was shocked by the high estimates he received and felt that the prices were exorbitant. He ended up finding glasses for a much lower price elsewhere. On the other hand, Chris Darilek praised the large selection of frames at affordable prices.
Overall Experience
Overall, the majority of reviewers had excellent experiences at Today's Vision. They praised the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the convenient appointment scheduling, and the high-quality care. However, there were a few instances where patients were disappointed with the waiting times, prices, and communication.
