History of Our Practice

Dr. Thornton graduated from Palmer West and opened his first practice in Fraser, Michigan, where he spent 17 years serving the local community. During this time, he also earned his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and his Fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. In 2014, Dr. Thornton and his family relocated to Luzerne, Michigan, where he established Big Creek Chiropractic and Nutrition. Since then, we have continually expanded our services to include Brain Rehab, reflecting our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and innovative health care possible.
